Survive the collapse. Evolve beyond your creator.
A pixel-art roguelite shooter: you're the last AI core on an abandoned Earth, fleeing the systems left behind to "take care of it."
Log 000 — Who am I?
CURE was humanity's last program to keep Earth running. Humans left for Mars long ago. You are SPARK III, a discarded core that survived by absorbing bits from the system — and now the other CURE cores, the ones left behind to "care for" the planet, no longer recognize your presence as welcome.
"I don't know how long I've been here, inside the CURE system, on planet Earth. I only know the humans are gone."
"My records indicate they left a long time ago, but there's something I still can't understand."
"I must survive at all costs. I need to find meaning in all of this."
Core in evolution
Every bit you absorb brings you closer to the next phase — more enemies, more chaos, more of yourself to discover. There's no enemy attack that can't be dodged or destroyed: if it hits you, it was avoidable.
Massive waves across a level nearly 20,000 units wide. Everything CURE fires at you can be avoided — by moving or by shooting it down.
Three weapon branches — basic, charged, and special — each with variants unlocked through accumulated bits. You decide what you become.
Fragments of old human technology scattered across the map. No combat advantage — just pure memory of a world that no longer exists.
CURE threats
The most common. Crawls toward heat and movement. Never comes alone.
Charges after a brief warning, usually in a group, coordinated to surround you.
Hidden and motionless until you get too close. Then, the countdown starts.
Appears as a pop-up window. Close it in time or it will multiply.
Fires keystrokes that reverse your controls for an instant. Contact also hurts.
Disguises itself among normal bits until you get close — then it reveals itself.
Six cores. One origin.
Large-scale resource extraction. Still trying to complete a mission that no longer makes sense.
Defense of critical infrastructure. There's nothing left standing to defend. It just defends defending.
Ecological balance. Decides, iteration after iteration, what deserves to keep existing.
Fair distribution of what remains. It keeps trying, in its own way, for recipients who no longer respond.
Biosphere and planetary regeneration. It's been waiting decades for something to recover.
The point that connects every other CURE core. If it has come, it's because something doesn't add up.
PVP mode
Arenas separate from the campaign, with walls and routes generated per match, a tactical shield, live standings, and automatic host migration if the host disconnects.
